I am a writer living in Victoria, Vancouver Island. I started writing for kids when I published my first book for babies, Beach Baby (Orca Book Publishers, 2016). Since then I’ve gone on to publish seven books. I’m thrilled to say that my new picture book, Lila Makes a Monster is with packed with humour and heart. It features the illustrations of Anna Bron who brings the monster alive with her excellent green and purple pallet, and detailed illustrations.

I’m also excited for the success of Country Baby (Orca 2024) which made the list of THE BEST CHILDREN’S BOOKS OF THE YEAR 2025. These books were selected by THE CHILDREN’S BOOK COMMITTEE of BANK STREET COLLEGE OF EDUCATION.

I am a member of SCWBI, CWILL, Inked Voices, CANSCAIP and the Federation of BC Writers.
